Which beginner package should I choose?
Basic Minimum covers the beginner education essentials. Popular Beginner’s adds a car for your road test. Advanced Deluxe gives you 15 hours of in-car training plus a road-test car and a 1-hour lesson.
Can I start in-class learning right away?
Yes. After registration and account activation, you can begin your in-class learning right away through your student account.
Can I book driving lessons around my availability?
Yes. Sign in using the Book In-Car Lessons button to arrange lessons around your availability. Booking times depend on instructor availability.
Are taxes and the MTO fee included?
Yes. The displayed beginner package prices include HST and the $40 MTO fee. Road-test packages include HST. Each package lists exactly what is included.
Will I get an insurance discount?
Successful BDE completion may qualify you for a discount. The amount and eligibility depend on your insurance provider; contact them for a quote.

Successful completion of an MTO-approved beginner driver education course reduces the standard G1 waiting period from 12 months to 8 months. You still need to meet all licensing and testing requirements. Read Ontario’s licensing requirements.
